Zoom Again Rehab Appointment Information
Appointments
Initial Evaluation Appointment:
Each new pet to our practice will receive an initial evaluation. This appointment is reserved for up to 90 minutes. In this visit, Dr. Ford will get to know your pet and their challenges, learn their pertinent medical history and determine realistic goals to strive for and reach together. A complete physical exam, including neurologic, orthopedic and myofascial exam will be performed. Dr. Ford will also begin rehabilitation treatment during this visit and provide an initial home exercise program.
Follow-up Rehabilitation Appointments:
Each follow-up rehabilitation appointment includes a brief exam and treatment using any modality helpful to your pet, as outlined in the Services section of this website. This appointment is reserved for up to 60 minutes. It is personalized based on how your pet is doing that day and their response to previous treatment. Dr. Ford will provide an updated home exercise plan if needed. Scheduling for follow-up rehabilitation appointments is dependent on your pet's personal needs, Dr. Ford's recommendations, and the goals you have for your pet.
Dr. Ford's medical notes, recommendations and personalized home exercise program will be emailed to you and your primary care veterinarian after your pet's initial evaluation and each follow-up rehabilitation appointment.
